Providing Dispute Resolution in a Changing Environment – RTA Community of Practice

July 28, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

FREE

You are invited to join the next Tenancy Management Community of Practice on Thursday 28th July 2-3.30pm

Dennis Bloomfield and Karen Tamatea from MBIE Tenancy Services will be talking about the dispute processes available to help resolve problems including the Tenancy Tribunal as last resort for serious breaches, and how they are adapting mediation services to better meet the needs of all parties in the ever-changing environment we are living in – the Te Ara Tika approach.

This COP is an opportunity to build our understanding about the disputes resolution process and the role it can play in settling disputes as early as possible and keeping whānau to stay in their homes wherever possible! There will be a presentation and an opportunity for Q & A.

Dennis Bloomfield is the Dispute Resolution Manager (Wellington and Southern) and Karen Tamatea is the Dispute Resolution Manager (Case Management)
