I am an independent Community Advocate and Workshop Presenter. I have more than 20 years experience supporting vulnerable clients to make sustainable change in their lives. I specialise in outcomes focused practice using a whānau-centric, strengths-based model. My practice emphasises the autonomy of clients; using consent-based communication to get client engagement with the change process; recognising that healthy communication is the only way to build a solid foundation for facilitating a meaningful change process.
I began designing and facilitating workshops in 2008. I work with a variety of organisation including CAB, Victim Support, Building Financial Capability Providers, Social Housing Landlords and Whanau Ora providers. My workshops are interactive in nature with emphasis placed on areas participants most want to explore within the subject matter.
