SolarZero is here to help homeowners reduce the cost of electricity – by making solar easy. They currently power over 13,000 Kiwi homes with SolarZero solar systems. SolarZero supports you when building or renovating a house. They cover the cost of the solar prewiring in the home and work with your electrician to make sure everything is configured. By prewiring for solar, the solar system can be installed seamlessly once the new homeowner takes over, and they offer two ways to go solar when the new homeowner is ready.

Their solar subscription allows you to enjoy all the benefits of solar power without the high upfront costs of buying the panels and the battery outright. They own and optimise the solar system; the homeowner gets access to exclusive grid energy rates for any additional energy that needs to be purchased or any excess solar that needs to be sold back to the grid. Homeowners simply pay a low monthly subscription fee. Alternatively, they offer an option where the homeowner can purchase solar panels and a battery. They will optimise the system while the homeowner enjoys lower energy costs.
