Te Wawata Kāinga is a property and tenancy management service committed to providing affordable, healthy, and secure homes that contribute to better health, education, and social outcomes. They offer a diverse range of housing options across Aotearoa New Zealand, giving people the freedom to choose where they live, whether renting or owning, while fostering long-term connections within communities.
Through collaborative efforts with the government, community organisations, and private sector, Te Wawata Kāinga aims to reduce housing stress in Aotearoa New Zealand, making it an uncommon and temporary issue. They are dedicated to ensuring all individuals have access to safe housing, grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the International Bill of Rights.
