Visionwest Community Trust operates a range of support services in West Auckland and other regions throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. Community Housing services – transitional housing, long-term housing, and the Sustaining Tenancy programme – are provided in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and Waitahi Canterbury. Within these regions, Visionwest provides housing to almost 600 households.

Visionwest has been a pioneer in providing complete wraparound support services to individuals and whānau experiencing tough times. Assistance provided includes food support, counselling, financial mentoring (budgeting), housing, in-home healthcare, rangatahi (youth) development and training, and early childhood education and care. Services are provided within a Kaupapa Māori framework to ensure quality support for all who require it.

Our vision is, Transformed Lives, Healthy Communities – He Oranga Tangata, He Oranga Hapori. We focus on helping to facilitate a transformational change within those we walk alongside to ensure, not just help in the immediate, but support that can lead to a life transformation and a better future for individuals and whānau.
