This briefing paper was prepared ahead of the meeting with the Minister on 30 January.
Community Housing Aotearoa have stated that we are ready to work alongside Government to realise a shared vision for public investment in housing across the full housing affordability continuum.
Our shared goal: provider organisations have committed to scaling up to deliver 40% of the needed social and affordable housing delivery, starting with 1000 homes per year, and through settings that would foster exponential growth to deliver 40,000 new social and affordable homes by 2030.
