From 1 July 2016, the contracting for emergency housing with the Ministry of Social Development will change.A Request for Proposals (RFP) for emergency housing places is now available on the Government Electronic Tendering System(GETS): 17568641.
While the closing date of the RFP is 13 July, the RFP includes a fast-track option which closes on22 June for organisations that may already be delivering emergency housing.The intention is to have funding for existing ‘beds’ in place by 1 July where possible.
You may also be eligible for extra funding for ‘beds’ you are already delivering through a Community Group house. More information is available here on the GETS site.
