Launch of Auckland Development Guide on October 5

It is a web-based tool that:
• Provides information to support practical joint efforts among the private development sector, community housing organisations and the public sector to deliver affordable housing.
• Supports the implementation of the affordable housing provisions of the Auckland Accord and Special Housing Areas. Special consenting and approval processes, along with set requirements for affordable housing, apply in these areas.

This web-guide will make the development process clearer for all those involved in housing developments and CHA are excited to be part of this pilot project along with Auckland City Council, BECA and BNZ. Links to the Auckland Development Guide will be provided when the site is launched.
