MSD, Housing New Zealand and MBIE briefings on SHRP
We will be asking for your feedback post-implementation. For those of you who missed the sessions, the latest information on the changes to social housing is available atwww.msd.govt.nz/social-housing.
We are still eagerly awaiting details of the Regulatory Performance Standards and Regulatory Reporting Requirements due to take effect on 14 April 2014. The latest SHU news about the Regulatory Authority was posted on 17 March 2014:
“We are in the process of finalising the community housing provider regulations and getting the new regulatory authority up and running. At the same time we are looking forward to talking with potential providers and explaining what the regulatory framework will mean for them. An important part of the process will be helping providers who wish to access Income Related Rent Subsidy (IRRS), become approved and registered as soon as possible.”
