Jun 18, 2015 | Events

The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen links among community sector people in Auckland, and to interact with the national agenda of Hui E! Community Aotearoa.

Tuesday July 7th

10 am to 12 noon

Wesley Hall, College of St John the Evangelist – St John’s Road, Meadowbank.

If you have a specific issues you want to have discussed – please contact [email protected] or Phone 027 241 5152

There will be a time for us to table any issues that we are dealing with – both so others can share ideas, and to inform others.

We will be able to report on the work being done in response to the Productivity Commission’s draft report on Social Services, and discussions underway with Charities Services.

We will also report on planning towards an Auckland-based gathering of national ethnic organisations, and groups working with refugee and migrant communities.

And a number of people have expressed interest in discussing how the sector is relating to the Auckland Council, especially with Local Boards.

A small Auckland based group will confirm the final agenda – so let us know what you want to talk about.

And please pass on this invitation to people in your network.

There is plenty of parking, and we’ll provide a cuppa!!

See you there – ka kite ano.
