CHA submitted on Kāpiti District Council’s consultation for the establishment of an Affordable Housing Entity. CHA supported the proposed Community Lands Trust (CLT) as a tangible step forward to support the development of homes meeting the identified housing needs in Kāpiti. A CLT can work closely with iwi and community housing providers with greater speed and flexibility that can be accomplished through the District Council itself.
