Bennett says National could sell off “thousands” of state houses but Housing NZ will still be the “dominant force” in providing social housing in NZ.

Concedes the sale of state houses is an asset sale despite National’s ‘no more asset sales’ promise, but says it will allow government to spend perhaps a billion dollars on providing more houses.
