They are the culmination of a partnership between the Nelson Tasman Housing Trust, Jennian Homes, Housing New Zealand and the Nelson City Council.
“It’s very exciting, I’m feeling very privileged and happy,” Brunwin, 17, said.
“Hopefully there’ll be many years ahead in this place.”
She said the site was perfect for her with the hospital nearby as her babies, who were born prematurely, still needed regular hospital checkups.
